The Church of Pentecost PIWC Orangeville
PIWC Orangeville is an assembly of The Church of Pentecost, whose statement of faith holds the Bible to be infallible and final in its authority and confesses one God revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The church teaches that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ meet humanity's need of a Saviour, baptizes believers by immersion from about the age of fifteen while dedicating infants to the Lord, and believes in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with signs following, the gifts of the Spirit and divine healing. The congregation describes itself as a place where people from all cultures come together to worship and grow in faith.
PIWC Orangeville is a congregation of The Church of Pentecost Canada, which lists it in its Peel-Halton Area as the PIWC Orangeville District (Assembly). PIWC stands for Pentecost International Worship Centre, a name The Church of Pentecost gives to some of its English-speaking assemblies. The denomination began in Ghana, and its Canadian church was started in Scarborough in September 1990.
The congregation meets for worship each Sunday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the railway station building at 49 Townline, which it calls the GO Train Station. It also holds Bible study sessions, and its YouTube channel posted video of its inauguration service in August 2026.
